Adam Foster of Syrahmi was a chef who became a sommelier, and then a winemaker. Ten years into his journey with his wine label, he’s now growing vines in Heathcote.
This is his love for Shiraz, or “Syrah” as it’s known in France and around the world.
Adam won back to back Young Gun of Wine People’s Choice trophies in 2008 & 2009.

The Young Gun of Wine Awards – designed to celebrate and showcase both young wine labels and winemakers on the rise – is now open for registrations. Held every year since its inception in 2007, the Awards is now into its 15th consecutive year, with not even COVID interrupting the annual event.
