Mona’s Eat the Problem invades Byron on Wednesday 7 August.
Acclaimed Byron restaurant Harvest Newrybar is partnering with Mona on Wednesday 7th August to create imaginative solutions to the problem of invasive species: eating them.
Part of Mona’s Eat the Problem – Kirsha Kaechele’s genre-defying exploration of transforming flaw into feature using invasive species in food and art – this special dinner event will feature Harvest’s own unique interpretation of the theme.
Vince Trim from Hobart’s acclaimed Mona gallery in Tasmania will spend the day foraging with Harvest Newrybar head chef Alastair Waddell and wild food researcher Peter Hardwick to create a five-course feast of delicious and thought-provoking dishes (all dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice), with optional wine matches.
Signed copies of the Eat the Problem book will be available for sale on the evening
