Prosecco has a reputation problem it doesn’t deserve. Written off by some as a lightweight stand-in for Champagne, it’s quietly become one of the most interesting categories in Australian wine – home-grown, increasingly serious, and capable of real complexity once you look past the bubbles. To find out which bottles were actually worth your attention, we gathered every Australian prosecco we could find and tasted them blind against a panel of winemakers, sommeliers and wine educators. The Prosecco Deep Dive Pack gives you direct access to that tasting. Rather than picking a single bottle off the shelf, you’re getting a curated trio assembled from the wines our panel rated most highly – an experiential cross-section of what Australian prosecco can do, from classic Charmat-method crowd-pleasers to textural, cloudy col fondo styles with real character.
How it works
Reserve your pack now with a 10% deposit. Pooling demand across our customers lets us secure the best-performing wines from the Deep Dive tasting at the best value and in proper allocation – rather than locking in a fixed list before we know what’s available. Once your pack is confirmed, we’ll take the remaining 90% from your nominated payment details and ship immediately, with your three wines and full tasting notes revealed in your My Cellar at that point. Wines are expected to ship in September.

The story behind the category
Australian prosecco’s roots trace back to a King Valley vineyard, where an Italian immigrant family planted Australia’s first vines in the late 1990s after years spent tracking down cuttings. What started as a small family project has grown into a genuine local industry – one that recently scored a win on the global stage, with Australia securing the right to keep using the name “prosecco” on the domestic market for good, as part of this year’s free trade deal with the EU. Our panel found wines spanning bright, citrus-driven classics to funkier, skin-contact styles – proof that this is a category worth taking seriously, name dispute and all.
