Paxton Wines is a family-owned and operated, organic & biodynamic winery & cellar door, founded in 1979 & located in the heart of McLaren Vale. We produce a range of estate-grown wine from our beautiful; hillside vineyards, including small batch wine from the oldest vines in South Australia, as well as our McLaren vale classics and Mediterranean varietals.

This job primarily involves facilitating guided seated tastings, wine sales & wine club/mailing list recruitment and as such will require a demonstration of exceptional customer service and sales abilities as well as knowledge & passion for wine.

We are offering 15 – 20hrs per week

The Ideal Candidate for this role will have:

  • Valid RSA
  • Reliable private transport
  • 2+ years of hospitality experience
  • Knowledge of wine
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer experiences

Highly regarded experience & qualifications:

  • Responsible Person Badge
  • Cellar door/wine retail/sommelier experience
  • WSET or other wine-focused qualifications

Our Ideal candidate would be able to work both weekend days & 1 or 2-weekday shifts across a roster
